Learning Beyond the Classroom: Our Visit to UWEC
A wonderful day with our Edhen learners ♥

Our tour to the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC) in Entebbe was one of the most exciting experiences we have had as students of Edhen School. It gave us an opportunity to leave the classroom and learn about wildlife, nature and conservation in a practical way.

As we walked through the beautiful natural surroundings, we were amazed by the trees, plants and peaceful environment. We listened to our guides, asked questions and recorded important information in our notebooks. The experience helped us understand that learning can happen anywhere, not only in the classroom.

The tour was also a wonderful time to bond with each other. We walked together, laughed, shared experiences and helped one another along the way. Although we became tired at some point, the excitement kept us going.

Most importantly, the visit taught us the importance of protecting wildlife and our environment. We realised that conservation is everyone's responsibility, including young people like us.

It was a memorable day that combined education and fun, and it is an experience we will always treasure.

Let's keep making memories!
